FOR TEACHERS AND TUTORS

# The classroom version is not built yet.

This page says what it will be, what exists today, and how to tell us what a room of thirty actually needs. It does not show you a dashboard, because there is not one.

## WHAT EXISTS TODAY

Kerfox is a study app for one student at a time. It teaches a topic with figures that move, asks exam-style questions, marks the answer out of marks the way the board would, and brings the topic back before it slips. At A-Level the marking is against the specification’s own words for AQA, OCR, Edexcel and WJEC, because the boards credit particular words and a true answer in the wrong ones scores nothing.

A teacher can use it now, for their own teaching: put the figures in front of a class, set a topic as homework, print what you need for your room. What does not exist is any way to see the class. No class list, no dashboard, no bulk signup. A teacher who joins the waitlist today signs themselves up, not their students.

## WHAT WE INTEND TO BUILD

Three things, and the third is the reason for the other two. Each is a plan, written in the future tense on purpose.

### Class progress

A teacher will be able to see which topics a class has reached, which are due back, and who has fallen behind the schedule, without asking anyone to report it.

### The misconceptions a class shares

When the marker refuses the same wrong word from twelve students, that is a fact about the teaching rather than about twelve students. The class view will surface the refusals a class has in common, in the board’s own terms.

### What to reteach

From the two above: the topics and the words worth another ten minutes at the front of the room, ranked by how many marks they are costing.

## WHAT WE WILL NOT DO

We will not show you a screenshot of any of this before it exists, and we will not tell you it improves results, because nobody has measured that. The page that would carry such a claim is the science page, and its first line says we have no evidence that Kerfox works.

What we can promise is the same thing the app already promises a student: marking against the board’s own words, figures generated from the physics rather than drawn to look right, and a build that fails rather than ships when a check does not pass.

## TELL US WHAT A ROOM OF THIRTY NEEDS

Register interest and we will ask you two questions: which level you teach, and what your students struggle with most. The answers to the second question are what decides what gets built first, and they are read by a person.

[Register interest](https://www.kerfox.app/waitlist?role=teacher)

One list, shared with the student waitlist. One email when the classroom version opens, nothing else.
