# Free to learn from. Expensive to build.

Every lesson, every question and the memory engine behind them are free, and the plan is for that to stay true. What support pays for is the work underneath: the research the method is built on, the writing and checking of every question, and the hosting that puts it on your phone.

None of it is expected of you. Kerfox works exactly the same whether you support it or not, and keeping that true is the reason we ask this way instead of putting a price on it.

## What it pays for.

Research

Reading the evidence on how people actually learn, and testing what helps rather than what sounds convincing.

Writing and reviewing

Every lesson and question written, then checked against the exam boards own specifications before it can ship.

Hosting

Servers, store fees and the delivery that keeps Kerfox quick on an ordinary phone with an ordinary connection.

Keeping it free

So the parts that matter most never end up behind a price, for the students least able to pay one.

That is the whole list. We are not counting up to a target in public, because a total on a page is a number nobody reading it can check, and the list above is the honest version of it.

## What it does, and what it does not.

- **It buys nothing extra.**No feature, no tier, no badge, no place further up any queue. Everyone gets the same Kerfox, and the core of it stays free.
- **Kerfox is not a registered charity.**Nothing here is tax deductible and there is no relief to claim. It is a gift towards the work, and it is treated as exactly that.
- **Monthly support stops whenever you want it to.**Stripe emails a receipt, and the link in it opens the page where you cancel. If you would rather ask us, write to [eivan.kolchin@gmail.com](mailto:eivan.kolchin@gmail.com) and we will stop it for you.
- **Payments happen on Stripe's own pages.**No card details ever reach anything we run, and we never see them.
